A U.S. manufacturer or importer of the United States, or written by another agency (such as a testing agency).

Who is responsible for CPC certification?

The importer of the United States shall be responsible for the products imported into the United States.

The contents of CPC certificate include:

Product information: the products covered by the certificate shall be described in detail as far as possible, so that the product identification has Weiyi nature;

CPSC safety regulations applicable to and passed the test: the test shall be conducted by a third-party laboratory approved by CPSC;

The name, address and contact information of the U.S. importer or local manufacturer proving the conformity of the product;

Contact information of the person who keeps the test report;

Date and address of production of the product;

Date and address of the product to be tested;

Third party laboratory information approved by CPSC for testing.

Common problems in the audit of CPC certification

According to the statistics of the reasons for the current audit failure, the common reasons are as follows:

1. the CPC certificate does not contain the information of the U.S. importer

2. the inspection regulations and items are incomplete and there are omissions

3. the test report is not tested in the third party laboratory approved by CPSC

4. report is not true
